Description

Jane Lathrop Stanford Middle School offers an intellectually rigorous middle grades experience within a community that values academic growth, social emotional well being, and student connection. Interdisciplinary teams help make a large campus feel personal, while PRIME provides dedicated time for mentoring, reteaching, enrichment, and Wayfinder lessons. Sixth graders explore art, drama, computer applications, world language, family and consumer science, industrial technology, and Tools to Thrive through an exploratory wheel. FLEX adds personalized support and enrichment with options such as Code Lab, Wildlife and Nature Conservation, Dynamic Dinosaurs, and Introduction to Leadership. The student produced Panther Cast, KJLS, gives daily announcements a strong student voice, while band, orchestra, and choir expand creative opportunity.
