Live Oak Middle School empowers students to achieve individual success while developing responsibility to their community. Recognized as a California School to Watch in 2018 and redesignated in 2021 and 2024, the school demonstrates sustained excellence in academics, developmental responsiveness, social equity, and organizational support. AVID strengthens college and career readiness through writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading strategies. Educational Talent Search connects students with additional guidance and preparation for future education. The after school program provides homework assistance and enrichment in arts and crafts, physical fitness, computer skills, and other student interests. Counseling services, college and career resources, activities, and the WEB sixth grade orientation program help students build confidence and strong connections.
