Beaver Area Middle School

Beaver Area Middle School serves grades 7 and 8 with a teaming model that places students in three collaborative core teams for English language arts, math, science, and social studies. Learners choose from more than 20 elective experiences, including opportunities for world languages in Spanish or Latin, plus a partial rotation that introduces additional engaging content areas. Multiple math pathways support strong growth, with options that can extend through Algebra I and Geometry. Instruction is strengthened through a one to one iPad program, Google applications, and Schoology for calendars, lessons, assignments, and discussion. A weekly Advisory helps students build academic habits and social emotional skills, supported by Schoolwide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports through the PAWS Plus framework. Robotics and ESports add creative challenges and teamwork. Families can feel confident their student will be known, supported, and celebrated.
