Community Montessori

Community Montessori is a TK through 8 hybrid charter school that blends four days of on campus instruction aligned with Montessori methodology with one day of independent learning. In the middle grades, students work within a structure that balances freedom with responsibility, giving young adolescents meaningful voice while surrounding them with guidance, reflection, and support. Students begin with community building routines, then engage in small group lessons, an uninterrupted work cycle, large group projects, and personal reflection. Weekly work plans help students organize goals and manage time, while Educational Facilitators provide individualized feedback. The student parent teacher triad model keeps decisions collaborative. Service projects, Dixon Lake campout, Business Day, Farmers Market, and council meetings create a thoughtful community where students grow with purpose.
