Haskell STEM Academy provides a rigorous and innovative learning experience centered on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. As the first STEM magnet middle school in its district, Haskell combines cross curricular instruction with hands on projects that encourage students to research, design, build, test, and improve their ideas. Pre Career Technical Education courses, student designed technology projects, and advanced mathematics pathways strengthen problem solving, creativity, and college and career readiness. AVID provides additional academic, social, and organizational support for students pursuing challenging coursework. Teachers maintain high expectations while supporting social emotional growth, cultural diversity, collaboration, and respectful communication.
