Woodcrest Junior High School is a close knit campus where every student is known, supported, and encouraged to succeed. Serving just over 300 students, the school creates a personalized environment grounded in academic excellence, developmental responsiveness, and strong relationships. Professional Learning Communities, recognized nationally through Model PLC School status, help teachers analyze student data, refine instruction, and provide targeted support. AVID strategies and Microsoft OneNote notebooks build organization, critical thinking, and independence in classrooms. In class small group instruction, before school intervention, IXL, Paper.com, and personalized academic plans provide continuous reinforcement. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, recognized at the Platinum level, works alongside the Wellness Room to help students reset, reflect, and grow. ASB, rallies, and schoolwide activities add leadership and pride. Woodcrest Junior High School feels caring, focused, and deeply connected.
