Sevier Middle School blends a STEAM focus with a project based learning model that treats students as innovators and leaders. The daily schedule includes four 56 minute core classes, two 44 minute related arts blocks, and a Flight Time advisory period for targeted small group support and community building. Students choose from rich related arts offerings such as band, strings, chorus, art, Spanish, entrepreneurship, computer science, and GTT Design and Modeling, along with VEX Robotics and PLTW Intro to Engineering Design Honors. High school credit opportunities include English I Honors, Geometry with Statistics, and courses such as Cyber Citizenship, Advanced Personal Finance, and Digital Publication Design. Support systems include Flight Time interventions, Academic Recovery at lunch, Read 180, and inclusive co taught classes grounded in Universal Design for Learning. The SOAR program and CARE lessons reinforce character and resilience, while Gathering of the Falcons celebrates achievement.
