Louis Armstrong Middle School combines academic excellence with an exceptional performing arts experience that helps students discover their talents and develop confidence. The Performing Arts Magnet offers Musical Theater, Advanced Drama Production, Stage Crew, Choir, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Dance, and Visual and Media Arts, giving students many ways to create and collaborate. Academic opportunities include accelerated math, dual college enrollment, ethnic studies, speech and debate, and an Academic Pentathlon team recognized among the strongest in the district. After school enrichment extends learning beyond the regular school day, while specialized support programs provide targeted instruction in English and math for students with individual learning needs. Through rigorous coursework, artistic expression, teamwork, and meaningful student participation, learners build the knowledge and skills needed for future success.
