Description
Timberview Middle School blends strong academics with hands on learning in an organized 8 period day. Students build college ready habits through the AVID elective, with structured note taking, inquiry, and tutoring support during class. Advanced English language arts emphasizes mentor texts, book clubs, and analytical writing for real audiences. Fine arts options include band, choir, orchestra, art, and theatre, while athletics offers a conditioning program and competitive sports that teach teamwork and discipline. PALS gives selected students leadership through peer mentoring, community service projects, and trained mediation to resolve conflicts peacefully. Counselors guide course planning and goal setting so each learner can chart a clear path to high school opportunities. Interdisciplinary teams coordinate support and celebrate growth each grading cycle. Our staff values relationships, respect, and purposeful challenge every day.
