Description

Lone Oak Middle School creates a structured and energetic learning experience for students in grades 5 through 8 with a schedule built around eight 54 minute periods and a signature Buffalo Block that rotates lunch intervention and study hall. Targeted support is built in through daily WIN What I Need time plus Math Squared Reading Plus dyslexia services and MTSS referrals that drive timely interventions. Students can pursue strong electives and credit opportunities including Art 1 Dollars and Sense Lifetime Nutrition Entrepreneurship Algebra 1 Outdoor Education and Archery with options for athletics. A Ron Clark house system strengthens belonging through House Games service projects and a House Cup Champion celebration while positive office referrals and student shout outs reinforce character. The campus also invests in Leadworthy lessons mediation and Capturing Kids Hearts practices to grow leadership and maturity.
