South Fayette Middle School

South Fayette Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 with interdisciplinary teaching teams, daily advisory built on the Three Pillars, and an activity period that supports clubs, recreation, and academic help. A 1 to 1 initiative provides student tech devices for research, writing, and digital organization. Students follow a strong core in language arts, math, science, and history, with acceleration options such as Algebra I in grade 7, Algebra I or Honors Geometry in grade 8, plus Pre AP English 8 and Pre AP History 8. Exploratory courses add STEAM, Technology Education, Family and Consumer Science, Aquatics, Public Speaking, Media Literacy, and Python. World languages include French, German, and Spanish, and performing arts thrive through band, orchestra, and chorus.
