Description

Midlothian Middle School blends strong academics with daily connection through a schedule built on four 90 minute core or elective blocks plus a 25 minute flex block called Mustang Morning. Mustang Morning provides Monday through Thursday enrichment and academic support plus Friday clubs where students self select up to two clubs per semester. Students can choose Honors in all four core areas and Honors English students may begin a full year world language International Studies or Writers Workshop as early as sixth or seventh grade. Supports are woven throughout the day with a reading specialist who pushes into classes administers ORF diagnostics and leads targeted reading groups plus in person tutoring Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays and Stride K 12 virtual tutoring. Inclusion is strengthened through collaborative and self contained special education options Unified Physical Education peer mentors adaptive music and a growing center based gifted program. PBIS supports culture through tickets Mustang Market raffles and restorative practices. Families will find a school that celebrates growth and builds confident learners.
