Description
San Marcos Middle School offers a rigorous curriculum aligned with high school and college expectations while giving students meaningful opportunities to explore technology, media, arts, and leadership. Career Technical Education courses include Technology, Applied Technology, Graphic Arts and Design, Digital Photography, and Broadcast Television and Film Production. Through Project Lead The Way, students study engineering, robotics, computer science, and advanced coding. AVID develops organization, collaboration, Socratic learning, leadership, and college and career planning. Additional experiences include studio art, band, Spanish, ASB, CJSF, clubs, yearbook, and the student produced Lions News program. Character education and social emotional supports help students strengthen responsibility, perseverance, and positive relationships.
