Coastal Middle School

Coastal Middle School offers the SALT specialty program, blending Pre Advanced Placement coursework with STEAM learning so students practice analysis, design, and clear communication every day. A strong CTAE sequence adds Agriculture, Robotics, Innovation, and Family and Consumer Sciences, while advanced Art and Theater build creativity and confidence. Music options include Band and Chorus, and students can extend their interests through clubs and competitive teams. A full athletics program supports baseball, basketball, cross country, softball, soccer, swimming, track and field, and volleyball. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports and restorative practices set consistent expectations and recognize growth. Teachers use common assessments, small group intervention, and project rubrics to keep progress visible in every core class.
