Description

Frank S. Greene Jr. Middle School creates a vibrant and application focused experience where flexibility, choice, and support are built into the school day. Students move through a seven period schedule with block days, office hours, and a weekly Advisory PRIME period that blends mentoring, social emotional learning, reteaching, and enrichment. Sixth graders explore an elective wheel that may include art, computers, drama, industrial technology, family and consumer sciences, and world languages, while older students can choose courses such as AVID, art, BioTech, broadcast, ceramics and sculpture, foods and nutrition, video production, and web design. Supports including Math Workshop, Literacy Lab, Reading Enhancement, Academic Language Development, co taught classes, and a sixth grade Flex Period help students grow with confidence. Frank S. Greene Jr. Middle School feels thoughtful, creative, and warmly committed to student discovery.
