Description

Haltom Middle School blends strong academics with hands on pathways that keep students engaged. Through AVID, students build organization, note taking, and college and career readiness skills while learning to advocate for themselves. Fine arts options include beginning and advanced band leading to concerts and UIL contest performance, plus theatre arts focused on acting, monologues, and scene work connected to the district one act play festival. Core classes emphasize literacy and problem solving with structured collaboration and clear learning targets. A campuswide framework of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, restorative practices, and consistent routines supports a calm learning environment. Families can expect caring adults, high expectations, and many chances for students to grow in confidence and character. We are proud of the energy and pride students bring to every day.
