Description
Springton Lake Middle School blends rigorous academics with a schedule built to personalize support for every learner. Students learn in three team communities per grade within a nine period day that includes English language arts math science and social studies plus two special area classes and daily French or Spanish or reading support. A daily Core Extension period is the engine that makes the program responsive, offering intervention in math or ELA enrichment seminars through the Academically Gifted Program resource room support for IEP goals and executive functioning and small group counseling supports. Teachers use common planning time for PLC work MTSS discussions and data analysis and the school strengthens inclusion through co taught math and language arts sections. Students connect through advisory that stays with them from sixth through eighth grade plus a Student Advisory Board clubs sports intramurals and traditions like the Schedule Release Party and birthday card deliveries. Families will find a school where students are known well supported and encouraged to shine.
