Description

Adeline E Kent Middle School offers a focused 5th through 8th grade program built around strong core classes and thoughtful enrichment. Teachers use Standards Based Feedback and Grading and the Kent Habits of Learning, including collaboration, organization, and work completion, so students know exactly what they are mastering. Sixth graders can join Band and Chorus during the school day, while older students can add zero period music, Performing Arts, and Expressions creative writing. The Enterprise course blends design, maker space building, ads, and video as students create products and raise money for charity. A Solution Team approach supports empathy and problem solving when conflict appears, and after school sports include basketball, volleyball, cross country, track, and flag football. Families will feel the pride and care that shape each day.
