Idyllwild School TK 8 creates a close knit learning community where connection, growth, and achievement shape the middle grades experience. Guided by the mission to Embrace, Educate, Empower, students use learning intentions, success criteria, and student planners to reflect, set goals, and build confidence. Electives such as orchestra, drama, art, yearbook, ASB, and Cross Age Tutor give students meaningful ways to explore interests and lead. Targeted supports including Read 180, study skills, tutoring, the Student Intervention Team, and a mentor based check in and check out system help students receive the right support at the right time. Outdoor education trips to Joshua Tree National Park, Catalina Island Marine Institute, and AstroCamp bring learning to life.
