Mitchell Senior Elementary School serves seventh and eighth grade students through a tradition of excellence grounded in academic achievement, personal growth, and meaningful relationships. Teachers and staff work to help every student reach social, emotional, academic, and physical potential within a safe and nurturing environment. AVID strengthens college and career readiness through organized learning, academic skill building, and inspiring experiences, including a study trip to Stanford University. Students also develop confidence through writing opportunities, awards programs, career exploration, and activities that recognize effort and accomplishment. Community service is equally important, as demonstrated by a student and staff walkathon that raised more than 4100 dollars for cancer awareness. Mitchell Senior is a caring school community where students are encouraged to learn with purpose, support one another, and build a strong foundation for future success.
