Description
Hand Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 with a college ready focus and a strong arts identity. AVID structures build organization, note taking, inquiry, and tutorial support so students practice the habits that carry into advanced coursework. As an Arts in Basic Curriculum school, teachers connect learning through the arts across core classes, and students can study band, chorus, strings, dance, theatre, and visual arts as part of the school day. Enrichment extends into practical learning as well, including Family and Consumer Sciences. The campus is also recognized through the Schools to Watch program for its middle grades practices and student support. It is a place where discipline, creativity, and ambition grow side by side, and families can count on steady guidance through every grade.
