Description
Flagstaff Academy is a tuition free public charter school serving preschool through grade 8 with a Core Knowledge curriculum and a clear science and technology focus. Students learn in an Innovation Lab exploring circuits, robotics, green energy, architecture, and 2D and 3D CAD design. In middle school, a high school style schedule lets students choose essentials electives such as computer science, cybersecurity and networking, and physical computing, with courses that build year to year. Code.org Discoveries supports hands on problem solving, web development, game design, data and society, and design process thinking. A 1 to 1 Chromebook program strengthens daily research and writing, and teaching teams support strong relationships and academic growth. Outdoor learning includes the Pingree Park trip.
