Description

Sunnymead Middle School builds strong learners through a structured day with six 50 minute periods and a daily advisory that strengthens routines and relationships. On Flex Day Wednesdays students rotate through six 35 minute periods that support intervention and enrichment. Core classes in ELA math science and social studies are paired with electives such as AVID STEAM band dance shop class art Spanish and Native Spanish. English learners benefit from block ELD in iLit and targeted language development in English 3D with regular data chats to support reclassification goals. Students with disabilities receive scaffolded grade level instruction with supports like Sonday and coordinated services. A high functioning PLC focus drives common formative assessments No New Content Wednesday reteaching and tutoring. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports includes PBIS Rewards points Stallion of the Month and student announcements from Digital Arts Media. Families can feel confident their children will be known supported and challenged each day.
