Description
Dorseyville Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 with interdisciplinary teams and a Homebase advisory that builds organization, study skills, and belonging. Core classes emphasize close reading, analytical writing, and hands on science and math problem solving supported by Response to Instruction and Intervention and a Back on Track study hall for catching up and revising work. Students personalize schedules with daily world language electives in French, German, or Spanish plus band, chorus, orchestra, art, and technology courses. Exploratory Time and an Afternoon of Service connect learning to community projects while a one to one iPad program and student help desk keep work moving. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports and restorative practices reinforce respect, responsibility, and integrity.
