Nettie L. Waite Middle School

Nettie L. Waite Middle School is a dynamic and community centered campus where leadership, opportunity, and student voice are woven into everyday learning. The Waite Leadership Program helps students develop 14 leadership traits through structured experiences that build confidence, discipline, and purpose. Students extend their learning through SkillsUSA competitions, robotics, and Femineers, applying ideas in real world contexts while strengthening teamwork and communication. A thoughtful intervention system embedded into the weekly schedule, after school tutoring partnerships, Professional Learning Communities, and data informed instruction help students stay supported and challenged. The school culture is grounded in PANTHER traits, Purpose, Achievement, Nobility, Teamwork, Honesty, Encouragement, Responsibility, and Success. With counseling supports, restorative practices, clubs, athletics, and schoolwide festivals, Waite offers a lively and caring place to grow.
