Description

Beverly Vista Middle School blends strong academics with a well designed rotating schedule organized by semester, giving students four 59 minute weekly periods for each core class and a balanced weekly rhythm across science, math, English, and social studies. Students build skills through clear learning targets, rubrics, Cornell Notes, and collaborative routines like think pair share, supported by one to one laptops and tools such as StudySync, No Red Ink, and NWEA plus CAASPP interim assessments. Targeted support includes CORE Academy, free after school academic help, and the Independent Learning Center with APEX for flexible online learning when needed. Students connect through the BulldogAid Wellness Center, the W E B transition program, ASB leadership, Dude Be Nice, and Bulldog Values PBIS focused on Building Resilience, Valuing Learning, Making Connections, and Showing Integrity. Electives and activities include robotics, engineering, band, orchestra, audio production, drama, dance, journalism, ceramics, Mock Trial, Math Counts, and Outdoor Education trips by grade level. Families can feel confident students are supported, challenged, and cared for each day.
