Description

Elkton Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 with a strong core of English, math, science, and social studies supported by an active guidance program and library. Students grow their talents through band, choir, and drama, with rehearsals and performances built into the school year. Spanish is offered as a world language option that strengthens communication skills and cultural understanding. After school options add energy and connection, including Gaming Club, cheer activities, and academic events such as regional spelling bee participation. The school uses Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports to teach clear expectations and celebrate positive choices, paired with restorative practices that help students reflect, repair harm, and strengthen relationships. It is a place where students can feel proud of their work and connected to their school.
