Description
Quail Lake Environmental Charter School makes learning real through hands on science based inquiry connecting environmental literacy, technology, engineering, and mathematics to real world problem solving. Students explore an integrated curriculum through project based learning in a 4000 square foot garden, outdoor classroom, butterfly garden, and greenhouse. This work has earned Green Ribbon recognition, California Distinguished School honors for elementary and junior high programs, the Bonner Character Education Award, a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports Platinum Award, and national School to Watch recognition. Students build confidence and creativity through robotics, athletics, drama, and band, including a Wind Ensemble celebrated for Excellent and Superior festival ratings. Family partnerships and a Community of Caring culture reinforce respect, responsibility, trust, and belonging. Every Falcon is supported to grow as a curious, capable, and compassionate lifelong learner.
