Academic Teams and weekly department collaboration strengthen common assessments, consistent expectations, and timely supports. Students can enroll in AVID and AVID Excel, including weekly tutor led study groups that build organization, collaboration, and college and career awareness. English learners benefit from dedicated ELD courses, newcomer supports, and a co teach AVID Excel Career Discovery class that blends language development with hands on career exploration. A wide elective and arts program includes metals, foods, art, multimedia journalism, choir, orchestra, band, jazz band, beginning guitar, beginning piano, and a standout mariachi option during FLEX. WEB student leaders help seventh graders feel connected and confident all year long. Students and families are valued partners in a caring learning community.
