Description
Melissa Sixth Grade Center creates a focused transition into middle school through a child centered approach built around integrity, loyalty, honesty, humility, and hope. Students can pursue advanced academics while exploring a distinctive range of electives that includes band, choir, theatre, art, Career and Technical Education, Innovative Design, foreign languages, and American Sign Language. Clubs and additional enrichment opportunities give sixth graders meaningful ways to discover interests, build friendships, and become connected to their new school community. Dedicated counselors and teachers support students as they navigate increased academic expectations and greater independence, creating a strong foundation before the next stage of middle school.
