Description
Memorial Junior High School serves grades 7 through 9 with a nine period day and a two day cycle that protects time for both rigor and support. Seventh and eighth graders take ELA and math in a double period every other day and seventh grade students learn on a four teacher team that links English math science and social studies for interdisciplinary planning. Academic help is built into schedules through lab periods plus targeted AIS push in support in English Living Environment and Algebra with added certified teachers for small group instruction. Students also access Extra Help Lunch and Learn Saturday Academy PALs peer tutoring Eagle Connection with high school mentors and Homework Club.
