Citrus Middle School

Citrus Middle School is a collaborative Professional Learning Community where staff and students work together to ensure high levels of learning and support for every child. A thoughtfully designed schedule includes block instruction and a daily homeroom, creating consistent opportunities for academic growth and social emotional development. Homeroom periods are strategically assigned using student data, allowing for focused intervention in reading or math, while Tier 3 supports and specialized programs provide additional help when students need it. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports guides a positive campus culture through clear expectations to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible, with Viking Bucks celebrating positive choices. Electives such as band, video production, engineering, and career exploration make learning hands on and engaging. Citrus Middle School is a welcoming place where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to achieve.
