Coakley Middle School

Coakley Middle School brings together academic focus, timely support, and strong community connection to help students succeed. Extended learning blocks and a dedicated reteach and enrichment period give students rigorous instruction while allowing staff to respond quickly when learners need more time or challenge. Teachers use frequent exit tickets to monitor understanding and adjust instruction in real time, and co teaching models with coordinated support for students in special programs help expand access for all learners. Cougar of the Month and Cougars of Character recognize achievement and positive contributions, while pep rallies, student voice initiatives, parent picnics, and Pan Dulce con Abuelos strengthen pride and belonging. With HOPE Squad, clubs, and activities, Coakley creates a caring school community where students feel recognized, supported, and ready to grow.
