Description

Little Village Elementary builds strong readers and confident problem solvers through a balanced literacy block, daily guided reading groups, and a structured math workshop with hands on stations. Classroom routines are supported by morning meeting, goal setting folders, and a clear schoolwide behavior framework that reinforces kindness and responsibility. Students deepen learning in science and social studies with inquiry projects, simple lab investigations, and research writing tied to grade level units. Specials add energy and talent development through art, music, physical education, and library media skills. Targeted support is provided through small group intervention, ENL services, and collaborative planning between teachers and specialists. After school clubs and family events strengthen connection and celebrate growth. It is a warm place where children are known well and learning feels purposeful every day.
