Description

Simons Middle School supports grades 6 through 8 with interdisciplinary teams, a daily advisory period, and clear routines that help students plan, reflect, and build strong study habits. English language arts emphasizes close reading, academic discussion, and writing from evidence, while math blends skill building with multi step problem solving and math talks. Science classes use lab investigations, data notebooks, and engineering design challenges, and social studies strengthens research skills with primary sources and presentations. Students expand interests through a STEM and technology rotation that includes basic coding and digital citizenship, plus electives such as art, band, chorus, theater, and physical education. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports and restorative practices reinforce respect and responsibility across campus. Families can expect caring adults, high expectations, and steady encouragement every day.
