Weaver Middle School supports student growth through a nine period day that blends strong academics with daily advisory and targeted help. Students take a double period mathematics block for 90 minutes using CPM for core instruction plus a flexible support period guided by iReady and FIAB data, with co teaching in seventh grade math to strengthen access. Core classes in ELA science and history run in 45 minute periods, with StudySync literacy work supported by UDL training, a Writing Festival, Speech Festival, and Literacy Pals. PAWS anchors the day with SEL check ins grade checks digital citizenship and iReady remediation, alongside PBIS supports like Check In Check Out and a reflective detention model. Students connect through award winning band color guard and percussion, leadership, multicultural studies, CJSF, AVID, lunch clubs, athletics, and recognition like Student of the Month and BAG reward trips.
