Cesar E. Chavez Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 with an academic focus anchored in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program, where students build inquiry skills, global perspective, and strong habits of reflection and service. Core classes include English language arts, math, science, history, Spanish, and physical education, with learning designed to elevate student choice and voice. Students can dive into design electives such as general design, coding and robotics, animatronics, environmental design, and publications, alongside fine arts options including piano, guitar, chorus, orchestra, band, digital media arts, visual arts, and theater arts. Expanded Learning after school adds clubs, sports, drum line, academic support, and community service, supported by Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports.
