Description

Farmwell Station Middle School helps students grow through advisory, organized team teaching, and clear routines that keep learning focused and supportive. Sixth graders choose a required music course such as band, chorus, strings, or music lab, and performing arts continue with ensembles and concerts throughout the year. Students explore world languages, technology education, family and consumer sciences, and computer applications, with projects that build research, design, and presentation skills. Clubs add extra ways to connect, including chamber orchestra for advanced string work, plus options like Sources of Strength and interest based groups that encourage leadership and belonging. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports and restorative practices guide expectations and reflection so classrooms stay calm and purposeful. Families can count on steady communication, caring adults, and a community that celebrates progress every day.
