Description

Boyce Middle School in the Upper St. Clair School District serves a dedicated population of approximately 600 students in grades five and six with a focus on academic excellence. Our school community prioritizes growth through specialized social emotional programs like the Panther Program which fosters respect, responsibility, and safety. Through weekly Advisor Time and a comprehensive guidance curriculum, students engage in lessons regarding mindfulness, empathy, and conflict resolution to ensure a supportive learning environment. We offer outstanding middle school programs including STEAM Design in our Innovation Hub and Makerspace where learners solve complex problems using modern technology. Our unique Expressive Arts rotation features the CAPS course which includes the JA BizTown experience to build financial literacy and real world skills. Additionally, students participate in the award winning Earthwarden environmental program at Deer Valley and benefit from a robust World Language exploratory track. As a National Blue Ribbon School and a multiyear Schools to Watch recipient, we remain committed to preparing every child for future success.
